As a Principal Project Manager on our Outage and Maintenance Services team, you will be responsible for all project management processes on medium complexity projects or on a portion (i.e. work package) of highly complex projects. You will supervise medium team sizes (average 10-30 team members) which may include project controls and sub-project managers. Additionally, you may serve as a Technical Inputs Lead for the medium complexity proposal projects as assigned, as well as taking on overall project manager responsibility of a highly complex project in a deputy capacity (with direct guidance of a Program Manager or higher).
You will report to the Sr. Manager of HQ Project Management and will be based out of either Cranberry Township, PA or Waltz Mill (located in Madison, PA). This position is eligible for a mobile or remote working arrangement and requires minimal travel (less than 5%).
Key Responsibilities:
Complete all aspects of planning process including authoring project plans and developing scope, schedule, and cost baselines.
Assume overall responsibility for profitability of contracts. Based on project plan, follow department protocols for acquiring team members to complete the work. Manage all aspects of project including scope, schedule, cost, risk, procurement, quality, resources, communications, and stakeholders through use of delegates/support as applicable. Interpret and transmit project/contract requirements, and subsequent changes, to functional groups following an integrated change management process.
Prepare or oversee project cost expenditure forecasts and progress evaluations/projections (including Earned Value Management) to support project performance and financial reporting requirements.
Review project expenditures for compliance with project baselines and scope.
Promote teamwork, including issuing and maintenance of project process metrics and process maps to ensure team, customer, and all stakeholders are kept informed of project status.
Develop or oversee project databases and procedures to ensure efficient handling and transmission of project correspondence and documentation between project team members.
Close projects by archiving work in financial, scheduling, document management, and resource management systems/tools. Perform final project quality assessment and report out. Identify and communicate opportunities for improvement, lessons, and risk avoidance for future work.
Serve as single representative to customer, architect engineer, constructor and Westinghouse business areas in support of project. Interpret and transmit contract requirements, and subsequent changes, to functional groups. Integrate project's objectives and actions through participation with other project groups in matters of common concern.
Identify, assess, and implement improvement opportunities which will add value.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience
Bachelor's degree required. Applicable disciplines are Project Management, Engineering, Business, Construction Management or related technical discipline.
Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
3 years in technical/engineering role and 2 years as project manager may be considered as equivalent.

Maintaining Strong Customer/Cross-functional Relationships - Build effective working-level relationships with Westinghouse functions that impact supplier processes - Manufacturing, Assembly, Production, Inspection, Shipping, etc. This includes Engineering, Manufacturing, Materials, SIOP, Quality, Product Managers, etc. Leverage these relationships provide service, improve processes, and gather demand inputs into all areas of GSCS including Supplier Performance Engineering (SPE).
Driving Supplier Performance - Responsibilities in this area include 1) Executing the Supplier Evaluation Process through resources 2) monitoring and proactively addressing negative trends 3) apply structured problem solving and leveraging Lean and Six-Sigma tools for complex problems to drive resolution.
Add value through Cost-Out / Cost-Avoidance - Leverage Subject Matter Expert (SME) and OpEx Expertise, with focused Six-Sigma training, to identify process improvements at our suppliers that eliminate waste, reduce cycle time, improve throughput, reduce cost-of-poor quality etc.
Metrics Accountability - Safety & EHS, OTD, Quality, Cost, Cost Clearance, Cost Out, Supplier Assessment cycle, SIOP process adherence, etc.

Who You Are:

Radiation Engineering & Analysis has supported the design and analysis of PWRs since the early days of the commercial nuclear power industry. Its scope has expanded from the Westinghouse fleet to include the Combustion Engineering PWR fleet, the BWR fleet, and several advanced reactor designs such as the Westinghouse AP1000 plant, AP300TM small modular reactor, and eVinciTM microreactor. You will report to the Manager Radiation Analysis Engineering in the Radiation Engineering & Analysis group. You will work fully remote in the United States.
Key Responsibilities:
* Be a technical leader for fluence/dosimetry analyses, including license renewal and 24-month fuel cycle transitions.
* Neutron transport calculations in and around the reactor vessel:
* Review plant drawings and build transport models.
* Perform fluence, activation, heating rate, and dosimetry calculations.
* Critically analyze results and produce technical documentation.

Minimum Qualifications:

The 2-Bin Process Owner will own the standard setting to determine what is in 2-bin and out of 2-bin as well as owning the process on how 2-Bin policy is set, managed, and fulfilled. You will be responsible for developing a systemic way to incorporate 2-bin into material coverage visibility connected both to Clear to Build (CTB) and Spares process as well as integration into Palantir apps. This role is the full start to finish owner of the 2-Bin process.
This role is open to remote consideration with 50% travel to start.
**Job Description**
**Essential Responsibilities**
+ Set standards and process enabling 2-Bin strategy
+ Executes the standards by going to Genba and creating methodology to identify defects and incorporate into standard reporting
+ Mapping current state PQPR and process maps
+ Utilize existing at-point problem solving and lead new to understand point of cause and point of detection for where 2-bin has limited delivery capability
+ Structured problem-solving methodology to identify root causes, build standards and governance, and ensure mitigation and training is in place.
+ Span internal make shops, assembly, distribution centers + kitting to see and surface gaps in actual and anticipated coverage.
**Qualifications/Requirements**
+ Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years Materials Management, Sourcing/Procurement, or Operations experience) + 5 years Materials Management, Sourcing/Procurement, or Operations experience.

The salary range for this position is $111,700.00 - 148,800.00. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus/variable incentive plan.
