Qualifications * Bachelor's or Associate's degree Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Security, or a related field. * 6+ years of experience in network security engineering, with a strong focus on firewalls, VPNs, and secure network infrastructure. * Experience configuring and managing Palo Alto firewalls, VPNs, and other network security devices. * Experience identifying and addressing network vulnerabilities and security gaps. * Experience in working with security information and event management (SIEM) systems and network traffic analysis tools. * Proficient knowledge of TCP/IP, VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL), and common network protocols. * Expertise in network security concepts and tools, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security. * Strong knowledge of secure network architecture design and best practices. * Proficient in troubleshooting network and security issues, including VPN connectivity, firewall rules, and traffic filtering. * Ability to develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards. * Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation of security tasks. * Expertise in the configuration and management of network security controls for both on-premises and cloud environments. * Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) is required.
