MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair all commercial gas and electric kitchen equipment including, but not limited to, washers, dryers’ fryers, steamers, and ovens such as pressure cookers, tilt skillets, commercial dish machines, combi-ovens, microwaves, stoves and conveyor type ovens, broilers, and espresso machines.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair all kitchen and bakery equipment including, but not limited to mixers, combi ovens, mixers, salad dryers, meat grinders, kettles, proofers, dough rounders and rack ovens.
Provide mechanical and technical guidance and expertise to Tech II and Tech III technicians and apprentices to continually improve the education, experience and skill set within the department.
Preventative maintenance and rehab of all kitchen equipment to required manufacturers specifications.
Provide proper documents for ordering parts as needed for equipment.
Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
High school degree or GED is required.
Associate’s degree (AA) or Technical school is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
5+ years of commercial appliance repair and refrigeration experience required.
7+ years preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Refrigerant Transition and Recovery certification through the EPA is required.
Must possess a valid Florida Drivers License in order to operate a company vehicle.
Universal EPA Refrigerant card.

The position requires 80%+ travel to power plant construction sites primarily in North America. The primary duties will be relay and control testing in Utility and Industrial settings, and install, maintain, repair, and testing on all types of protective relaying. Candidates must be able to read, understand, mark up, and correct customer drawings, diagrams, and blueprints. Candidates will perform operational tests for transformer protection systems and generator controls, conduct relay and function testing, trip path verification to lockout, and place equipment in the proper functioning condition.
Bilingual candidates who can speak Spanish with resident ties to Puerto Rico are preferred, but not required.

Testing of metering, remote controls, data system, relays, and trip circuits
