This level requires extensive progressive experience in communication software and hardware, electrical and instrumentation communication, configuration, etc. and involves utilization of project controls for cost, schedule and quality of projects associated with needs at the site. This work will be performed under minimal supervision. **Primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to:** + Work closely with Cisco hardware provider to support onsite needs in regard to maintenance, configuration, installation, etc. + Work closely with project teams to support electrical, fiber, and other needs for projects including devices, switches, etc. + Work closely with contractors for fiber installation, proposals/quotes for needs for installation, etc. + Work as site liaison for these activities with contractors to share site specific and nuances of the area. + Performs site walkdowns throughout the facility to support ongoing technical efforts for IT and communication needs. + Assists with process controls team in various capacities. + Maintain fiber infrastructure for site. + Maintain 2 phone systems for site (Skype/Teams & analog) and all maintenance. + Safety communication champion. + Responsible for maintaining all paging systems, systems backups, maintenance, & configuration.
