Description and Responsibilities Adult Community Clinical Services is a Department of Mental Health funded service that is designed to deliver evidence-based interventions within a clinically focused model. Individuals served are diagnosed with mental illness or dual diagnosis and reside in their own homes, apartments, or in group living environments. Our services focus on helping people transition to a more independent environment while maximizing their natural supports by building skills and achieving personal goals. This position will enable communication between the deaf and hearing staff and between deaf individuals and hearing staff. This position supports the Leominster and Worcester regions and requires travel to programs of these areas. Other Key responsibilities: Interpreting in person and virtual staff trainings, meetings among staff members and team meetings between individuals served by the program and members of our integrated team. Interpreting for small group gatherings between individuals served and staff and for clinical assessments between individuals served and clinical staff members. Traveling to individual's homes or locations in the community on occasion to interpret between hearing staff and Deaf or Hard-of-Hearing individuals served.
