AI Agent Solutions Architect
Remote Job
Job Title:
AI Solutions Agent Architect
About Datagrid
Datagrid is the AI Agent Solutions Architect that gets work done for you.
Instead of just answering questions, Datagrid's agents take action-automating entire workflows across your tools, files, and systems. Whether it's searching through documents to find answers, cross-referencing data to uncover gaps, or running a financial analysis that updates your Excel file-Datagrid does the work, so you don't have to.
You get your time back. You 10x your output. The AI runs the playbook.
Behind the scenes, Datagrid connects to over 100 platforms and 2,000+ APIs-Excel, Google Docs, SharePoint, Slack, PDFs, websites, and more. It handles multi-modal problems like handling unstructured data like images and documents, as well as entire databases with ease, and communicates through channels like Teams, Slack, or SMS.
It's built for trust and precision: agents cite their sources and operate safely in real-time. Enterprise teams get full control with teamspaces, RBAC, and usage reports. You can customize everything-launch fast on your own, or partner with our expert team.
From research to reporting, from digging through files to delivering results-Datagrid doesn't just assist. It executes.
We're looking for passionate individuals to join us at the frontier of AI innovation.
About the role
We're looking for an AI Agent Solutions Architect to lead the design, customization, and deployment of intelligent agent systems in real-world customer environments.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of LLM architecture and customer implementation. You'll design reusable agent frameworks, develop complex prompt strategies, and integrate our agents into customer workflows across enterprise ecosystems. You'll work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and customer teams to deliver outcomes that scale.
What you'll do:
Design modular, scalable AI agents that reason, take action, and communicate with users across channels.
Meet with and partner closely with customers to understand their use cases and tailor agent workflows to their systems, tools, and data.
Build and optimize multi-step agent chains using prompt engineering, tool integration, and memory/state handling.
Develop proof-of-concept deployments and iterate toward production-ready solutions with enterprise clients.
Integrate external APIs, databases, internal systems, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines into agent frameworks.
Work alongside ML engineers to define performance metrics and improve agent reliability and explainability.
Build internal tooling for prompt versioning, A/B testing, and agent performance feedback loops.
Contribute to reusable design patterns, internal documentation, and knowledge sharing for field-facing solutions.
What you'll have:
3+ years in software engineering, ML development, or solutions architecture with 2 years working on LLMs or agentic systems.
Deep expertise in prompt engineering, agent orchestration, tool use, and stateful reasoning systems
Hands-on experience with frameworks like LangChain, AutoGen, Semantic Kernel, or similar.
Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with APIs, webhooks, and AI infrastructure.
Experience deploying AI-driven systems in enterprise or production environments.
Familiarity with vector databases, embeddings, and RAG architecture.
Strong client communication skills and a passion for delivering AI that solves real problems
Bonus: Knowledge of symbolic reasoning, knowledge graphs, or multi-modal agents.
Who you are:
A technical problem solver who loves translating ambiguous goals into scalable AI systems.
A customer advocate who enjoys working directly with users to design meaningful solutions.
A builder who ships fast, learns on the fly, and iterates quickly.
A collaborator who bridges the gap between product vision and technical execution.
A startup-minded contributor who thrives in fast-moving, high-ownership environments.
If you thrive at the intersection of strategy, customer engagement, and data-driven success, we'd love to connect with you!
Pay Range and Benefits
$120,000 - $155,000 USD base salary per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
At Datagrid we set pay ranges using market data, internal benchmarks, and the scope of responsibilities. Final compensation within this range will be determined based on relevant experience, skills, and geographic location.
In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for:
Equity in the company
Home office set-up reimbursement
Health, dental, and vision benefits
Flexible PTO and remote work options
Equal Opportunity Employer

Remote Job
Who we are
Our mission at Sourcegraph is to make it so that everyone can code, not just ~0.1% of the population.
We are transforming how the world's most important companies build software by industrializing development with AI. Today, most professional developers spend a disproportionate amount of time understanding code and performing repetitive, low-level tasks-leaving less time for innovation and meaningful impact.
We're changing that. Sourcegraph brings AI-powered search and agents to the enterprise, helping teams automate the mundane and amplify what developers do best- solving hard problems and creating great products.
Here's how we're making a difference:
Accelerating developers with AI agents that deliver insights and precision-enabling 5x faster test creation, 30% increase in merge requests, and saving 20 minutes per developer daily.
Automating repetitive tasks, from remediating vulnerabilities (saving teams 1,000+ hours annually) to speeding up migrations that would take years to months.
Enabling innovation by addressing complex problems like automated bug triage, vulnerability detection, and AI-driven code reviews seamlessly integrated into workflows.
Trusted by 7/10 top software companies by market cap, 4/6 top US banks and many of the companies leading global innovation, like Stripe, Indeed, Tesla, and 1Password, and with $225M in funding from investors like a16z, Sequoia, and Redpoint, we are building the tools that will define the next era of enterprise software development.
If you're passionate about solving the hardest problems in software and shaping the future of technology, join us. Let's build something extraordinary together.
