Job Title: Home Infusion Pharmacist
Job Summary:
The staff pharmacist is responsible for pharmacy services including dispensing, patient profile
monitoring, and drug counseling. Must adhere to all state and federal laws, rules and regulations for pharmacy operation. Responsible for assisting procurement manager with inventory management, lot number tracking, and product recalls. The pharmacist will be responsible for compounding sterile products and following USP and requirements including compounding, cleaning and environmental monitoring. Pharmacist will work 1-2 days per week and help cover vacations and in busy times.

The Pharmacist performs a variety of duties such as:
Maintaining excellent relations with clients/patients
Maintaining a system of lot and batch numbers, which will allow for recall of medication products.
Oversight of the compounding of sterile products
Compounding sterile products per policy and procedure
Assisting with oversight of non-sterile compounding
Managing any pharmaceutical recalls
Maintaining adequate inventory levels
Assisting in resolving pharmacy client concerns
Assuming on-call responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines
Reporting product incidents as required in accordance with company policy
Participating in surveys conducted by authorized inspection agencies

Preferred Experience, Skills and Abilities for the Pharmacist Position:
Pharmacy degree and State Licensure
Experience in Sterile Compounding
Experience in conflict resolution and disciplinary processes
Organizational skills sufficient to maintain consistently accurate records
Current knowledge of all applicable state and federal pharmacy laws, rules and regulations
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
Classification & Compensation:
This position will be full-time and non-exempt. The hourly rate is dependent on experience and skill level.
