A local non-profit health plan in Aurora, CO is looking for a HYBRID Senior Provider Network Contractor to join their team.
The Senior Provider Network Contractor is responsible for managing the full spectrum of provider relationships and the entire contracting process, to include analysis of contract proposals, recruitment of new providers, contract negotiations with existing providers, and execution and operational implementation and support.
Overview of Responsibilities:
Negotiates complex provider agreements utilizing a variety of negotiation strategies and techniques with all provider types, with emphasis on developing strategic partnerships with facilities, health systems, integrated care delivery systems, physician hospital organizations, independent practice associations, individual providers and clinics, ancillary providers, FQHCs and other providers.
Maintains proficiency in current and proposed reimbursement methodologies for facility and professional contracts, contract language and provisions and organizational operations to assure contract offers can be implemented and effectively administered.
Provides comprehensive management of the contracting process, including rate and language negotiations, and operational implementation.
Works with contracted providers on contract interpretation and assists with operational and/or reimbursement issue resolution.
Provides financial and operational performance analysis of existing and pending Provider contracts.
Provides guidance, support and direction to Managed Care Contractors and other department staff as needed.
Serves as the project lead and subject matter expert for one or more of the following:
Development and revision of multiple contract templates for contract management system, in collaboration with the Director, and software vendor
Fee schedule analysis
Appropriate billing and coding for physical and behavioral health
Serves as contract management system administrator as assigned
Works with legal and other staff to resolve complex claims issues
Requirements:
5-8 years experience negotiating complex contracts with health care providers (ex: hospitals, health systems, medical groups, clinics)
Experience with strategic planning; development, revision and quality control of contract templates, contracting guidelines; determination of network adequacy and capacity standards and other policies and procedures
Analytical, reviewing claims history and trends
Advanced knowledge of managed care contracting, provider reimbursement and claims payment, medical terminology, and health care delivery systems required.
Must be proficient in MS-Office applications (Word, Excel, and Access).

Experience with value-based contact arrangements
Schedule/Shift:
M-F schedule options: 8am-5pm, 8:30am-5:30pm, or 9am-6pm
This role will begin as fully remote, then will move to hybrid 2x per week

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO:
- Coordinate all activities of Healthy Start Brooklyn's Community Action Network (CAN), a group of people who live and/or work in the neighborhoods HSB serves and who use a collective-impact model to improve mental and financial health and wellness in the community
- Lead the steering committee in planning the work of the CAN through monthly meetings, and lead general meetings at least every other month; plan additional activities for the benefit of the community
- In collaboration with the steering committee, maintain and update a five-year action plan for the CAN, including yearly goals and objectives, planned activities, timelines, and monitoring and evaluation
- Lead capacity-building efforts, including identifying and organizing training sessions for CAN members on topics such as public speaking, birth equity, advocacy, and Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE's)
- Assess member diversity and review community assets to identify missing stakeholders; seek partners from sectors and communities not currently well represented on the CAN
- Partner with other organizations and coalitions in the project area, and internal stakeholders on community-building activities and efforts to improve the quality and availability of mental health services and financial services
- Partner with the Brooklyn evaluation team to design and implement evaluation activities for the CAN; write reports on grant activities and program outcomes
- Coordinate meeting logistics, including scheduling, publicity, coordinating space and speakers, refreshments, child care, and setting up a virtual platform (where applicable)
- Track meeting attendance and coordinate the distribution of stipends and MetroCards to community members
- Communicate weekly or biweekly with CAN members through email or other platforms to share information about mental and financial health, as well as announcements about community events and activities to improve mental wellness and financial well-being
- Other duties as required.

This position is responsible for professionally supporting companies, apprentices, and all other stakeholders of the ICATT Apprenticeship Program and supports GACC Midwest's Apprenticeship Networks team.

What does this role entail?
Serving as a first point of contact, the position ensures that inquiries from companies, apprentices, and all other stakeholders of the ICATT Apprenticeship Program are being taken care of. The position will also be responsible for lead generation and the initial qualification of new leads.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Serve as the first point of contact for potential and current network companies and strengthen GACC Midwest's intermediary function by supporting network companies in all apprenticeship related matters.
Conduct regular check-ins with network companies and apprentices on the implementation of the apprenticeship program. Include and/or hand over to the appropriate team member if needed.
Identify new leads using databases, social media, and other sources.
Document all relevant communication within GACC Midwest's CRM system and maintain accurate records.
Support the development of strategies and concepts to grow the ICATT Apprenticeship Program.

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO:
* Coordinate all activities of Healthy Start Brooklyn's Community Action Network (CAN), a group of people who live and/or work in the neighborhoods HSB serves and who use a collective-impact model to improve mental and financial health and wellness in the community
* Lead the steering committee in planning the work of the CAN through monthly meetings, and lead general meetings at least every other month; plan additional activities for the benefit of the community
* In collaboration with the steering committee, maintain and update a five-year action plan for the CAN, including yearly goals and objectives, planned activities, timelines, and monitoring and evaluation
* Lead capacity-building efforts, including identifying and organizing training sessions for CAN members on topics such as public speaking, birth equity, advocacy, and Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE's)
* Assess member diversity and review community assets to identify missing stakeholders; seek partners from sectors and communities not currently well represented on the CAN
* Partner with other organizations and coalitions in the project area, and internal stakeholders on community-building activities and efforts to improve the quality and availability of mental health services and financial services
* Partner with the Brooklyn evaluation team to design and implement evaluation activities for the CAN; write reports on grant activities and program outcomes
* Coordinate meeting logistics, including scheduling, publicity, coordinating space and speakers, refreshments, child care, and setting up a virtual platform (where applicable)
* Track meeting attendance and coordinate the distribution of stipends and MetroCards to community members
* Communicate weekly or biweekly with CAN members through email or other platforms to share information about mental and financial health, as well as announcements about community events and activities to improve mental wellness and financial well-being

The Position
The Grazing Mentor Network (GMN) is a multi-state initiative that seeks to create a large peer-to-peer network made up primarily of beginning, small-scale, and underserved Producers and promotes the use of best management and regenerative grazing practices to improve environmental and economic outcomes in beef cattle production.
The GMN is a five-year pilot program funded through AFTs Climate-Smart Beef Project and will focus on six states in the Mid Atlantic (PA, MD, VA) and Southeast (GA, AL, MS) with an objective of building a network of over 600 beef cattle producers across these states.
Each state will have nine Mentor Producers, who will be the primary source of technical assistance to participants. Each state will have a Grazing Network Coordinator who will coordinate the activities of the Mentors in their state.
The Grazing Network Coordinator is a part-time role (1100 hrs. per year) that will provide the primary link between American Farmland Trust (AFT) and Grazing Mentors in their respective state and will be responsible for coordinating all technical assistance programs, Mentor and Mentee applications and onboarding, data collection and reporting, and administrative compliance within the Climate-Smart beef project.
Expectations:
Live in one of the GMN states (PA, MD, VA, GA, AL, MS).
Experience collaborating and coordinating diverse groups of beef cattle producers.
Frequent instate travel required to meet Mentors and Mentees, and some interstate travel to attend training and workshops (travel costs will be reimbursed).
Access to the internet and competency with email, word processing and spreadsheet applications.
Part time position with an average 20hrs per week, this position is remote with approximately 30 in-state travel days year 1, increasing to 45 in-state travel days in years 2-5 (milage reimbursed for use of personal vehicle). Attendance at a 3-day soil health workshop/training is also required each year.
Specific Duties and Responsiblities:
Development and Delivery of Technical Training Programs/Curriculum.
Provide input for State/Region specific training programs within the GMN curriculum, including, but not limited to, regenerative grazing management and other best management practices that seek to enhance soil health, and achieve the goals and objectives as laid out in CLM-27 Climate Smart Beef Project.
Assist AFT in the delivery and dissemination of these training programs to Mentors, Mentees, and other producers within their State/Region through participation in one-on-one and group trainings.
Aid Mentors in delivering TA to their mentees, including traveling with Mentors within their state to visit Mentees.
Identification, Screening, and Onboarding of GMN Mentors.
Work with AFT personnel and partners to help identify potential GMN mentors within their State/Region. This may include contacting producer groups and organizations, existing grazing mentor networks, groups and organizations that support HUPs, and State and Federal agencies, academic institutions.
Once identified, Mentor Coordinators shall assist with the onboarding of Mentor Sub-awardees into the GMN program. This will include managing, with the help of AFT technical and administrative personnel, the contracting and signup of Mentors under the Sub-awardee agreement, defining Mentor roles and responsibilities,
Data Recording, Reporting, Management and Compliance.
Coordinate CPA-52 efforts.
Assist Mentors and Mentees with USDA-FSA signup and ongoing reporting as required under CLM-27.
Assist Mentors and Mentees in signup for programs provided by partner NGOs such as AgriWebb, Indigo Ag, and EarthOptics, and provide ongoing support to ensure that required data is collected, reported, and that Mentees/Producers are receiving program benefits.
Grazing Network coordinators will also be engaged in evaluation efforts where appropriate and may be asked to respond to evaluation surveys and/or participate in interviews.
Administration of Correlated AFT Programs and Initiatives, and Opportunities with OTHER Agencies.
Assist with the implementation of co-curricular AFT programs including, but not limited to, farmland protection, succession planning, and outreach to Historically Underserved Producers (HUPs).
Promote financial assistance opportunities for best management practice adoption with other agencies.
Qualifications
Strong compassion and empathy, and experience working with Historically Underserved audiences, preferably in agriculture and/or conservation.
Both an independent and proactive worker and GMN member who will complete both individual deliverable and broadly collaborative deliverables on time.
