About the Role We are seeking a visionary and dynamic Creative leader to join our Live Events Team. As a Creative Director at the intersection of Experience Design and Content, you will define and champion a compelling creative vision, to shape Netflix Live Event Visuals from strategy through to execution. This role is pivotal in driving quality, maintaining alignment with the broader Netflix brand, and delivering unforgettable experiences for our members around the globe. The Multimedia Design Lead will be responsible for working with Content and Production to establish the look and feel of packages and oversee exceptional execution of all broadcast deliverables including titles, intros, inserts, stats, scores, AR, in-venue signage and studio art direction (as needed). You will also work closely with our world-class Marketing, Brand, Social, Ad Sales, Events, Consumer Products, and User Experience teams to enable world-class, connected campaigns for consumers at every touchpoint. Key Responsibilities Lead the Creative Vision and Roadmap: Develop a creative vision for implementation across all functions for our live events. Your input, leadership and guidance will drive design, graphics, animation, and editorial across all functions. Strategic Oversight and Mentorship: Offer visionary leadership and mentorship to our creative teams, empowering them to excel and innovate. This role is pivotal in nurturing talent, promoting a culture of continuous improvement, and driving the organization towards creative excellence. Evaluation of External Capabilities: Review and evaluate the creative capabilities of 2nd and 3rd party partners as well as securing strategic long-term partnerships for creative buildout and implementation across our live events. Designing at Scale: Develop industry-leading, best-in-class design systems. You'll create the brand DNA that fuels the creative in our live events. The work you oversee will need to extend far beyond the event and positively impact and influence the promotional, navigational, and streaming creative. Team Building and Sustainable Engineering: Lead teams to build scalable methods with branding, graphic systems, animation packaging and editorial graphics. The Must-Haves * 10+ years of professional experience working with a creative studio or media organization. * Proven industry-leading work that drives results. * Experience in hands-on design and creative leadership, at scale, instilling best practices in creative engineering. * Experience in the Implementation and execution of editorial graphics for features, content packages and live-action elements. * In-depth knowledge of graphic design, motion graphics, animation principles, compositing, and key art, including common design principles such as typography, composition, hierarchy, and balance * Ability to lead projects that synthesize brand D.N.A. from live events to marketing executions. * An advanced understanding of the common behaviors of deliverables for live television. * Comfort and experience leading teams in large-scale projects and presenting to executive leadership * Experience in design system creation at scale across all company touchpoints * Proven project management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines. * Proven track record of creating best-in-class animation languages that are built to endure. * Lead teams at the departmental and project level while exemplifying company values and creative leadership. The S&O Planners are strategic partners to the business. As part of Netflix's Enterprise Operations team, we plan, execute, and implement real estate and spatial solutions to support Netflix's rapid growth and needs as the business continues to evolve and expand globally. The Space and Occupancy Planning role will focus on planning and analyzing Netflix's existing and planned corporate locations within the UCAN region, with a primary focus on Los Gatos. The role will collaborate and communicate with other members of the global space and occupancy team, as well as stakeholders from across the company.
