Essential Responsibilities:
Representative Duties:
Upholds Kaiser Permanente's Policies and Procedures, Principles of Responsibilities and applicable state, federal and local laws.
Performs patient care functions, within the scope of competency, considering age related needs of the patient as prescribed by physician/health care professional(s) following established protocols, policies and procedures.

Patient/Care Procedures:
Explain purpose and process of examinations, tests and medical procedures to patients, following established guidelines.
Instruct patients on general health and basic self care procedures.

Apply basic orthopedic devices, as ordered by physician.
Apply and remove dressings.

Restrain or support patients during procedures.

Administer topical or aerosol medication as ordered.
Administer medications as prescribed, within scope of practice.
Transportation:
Transport patients to/from designated areas.
Route specimens to laboratory.
Transport laboratory specimens, medical records, laboratory supplies and materials.
Transport office supplies and materials, patient related supplies and materials.
Transport equipment, and procedures trays.
Administrative/Clerical/Record Keeping:
Request charts/medical records.
Schedule, cancel and reschedule patient appointments.
Initiate follow up appointments with patients.
Check in patients/members.

Record and send Faxs.

Provide education through in-services (account calls) to HCPs and HCP staff on Product specific information including but not limited to Product information, disease state information, dosing protocols and information, administration of product, and adverse events of Product.

What do you need for this position?
Active nursing license to be in good standing in at least one state in which the in-services are being conducted.

Strong problem-solving skills.
Demonstrable organizational skills and/or previous territory management is preferred
A self-starter with high personal motivation
Valid motor vehicle license and proof of insurance.
Ability to travel, including overnight travel. The amount of travel varies by territory but may be up to 100% travel.
Must have good communication , speaking, and writing skills. Ability to conduct one on one and group presentations, manage administrative responsibilities consistent with a field-based territory management position.

Position Overview:

Utilize the MDS scrubber during the completion of the MDS and work with the results of the scrubbing to enhance systems and quality of the medical records and resident's care

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current active license as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN).
Experience in completing the Minimum Data Set is preferred.

Position Overview:
As a National Travel Nurse Practitioner, you will travel to our different locations across the country to serve as a Laser Specialist in different studios while their regular Laser Specialist is on leave (PTO, FMLA, etc).
