This role will include virtual physician support on weekends for up to three specific mental health teams operating primarily in the downtown eastside in Vancouver: Mobile Crisis De-escalation (MoDe) team - a non-police, same-day crisis response team individuals in the inner city who are experiencing a mental health or substance use crisis Acute Home Based Treatment (AHBT) team - a short term mental health stabilization team for patients with moderate decompensations, who can be managed in the community Indigenous Crisis Response Team (ICRT) - an Indigenous-specific crisis response service The interdisciplinary teams work closely with community service providers including shelter and supportive housing staff to provide a community-based, healthcare-led crisis response, post-crisis follow up, and service navigation. AHBT works closely with nurses, psychiatrists and other allied health to support patients in the immediate stabilization after a mental health decompensation. As an oncology Virtual Physician Partner II (VPP II), you will work virtually in an out patient oncology/hematology office, accompanying health care providers during clinic visits. In this role, you are the physician's personal efficiency partner, working to improve the accuracy and completeness of data collected at the point of care. You will do an extensive review of the patient's chart, creating a clear and concise oncological history and capturing key variables used to pre-screen candidates for clinical trials. You will play a crucial role as a member of the patient care team and serve as an essential interface between the clinical site and the execution of clinical research. Roles and ResponsibilitiesVirtually accompany the healthcare provider in all scheduled visits into patient examination rooms in order to assist the provider by developing draft clinical notes Serve as the Company's trusted face to the clinical practice, providing clinical support while improving routine care data quality Assist with chart preparation aligning with the healthcare provider's (HCP's) needs and documenting what has occurred since last visit. Identify missing information needed for clinical trial pre-screening and prompt provider for needed information. The National Medical Director for “Wound Pros Management Group” will be your direct supervisor, however; your overall responsibility will be directed to the company's “Executive Team” which consist of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Chief Operating Officer (COO), and the Chief Marketing and Contracting Officer. OBJECTIVES: Oversee the day-to-day management of healthcare services and provide clinical support for the PA and NP clinicians.
