Thriveworks is currently seeking Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners in Delaware.
In an effort to maintain safety and best practices for our clinicians and patients via telemedicine, Thriveworks does not push or incentivize the use of stimulant medications; instead, we offer them as an option based on the client's specific symptoms and diagnosis, with prescribing decisions left to the discretion of the clinician. We do not currently treat substance use disorders, and make every effort to refer out to an in person provider when symptoms arise that are too severe to be treated via telemedicine only.
Thriveworks Nurse Practitioners are expected to provide care to a diverse population of clients with mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, and more. They work with a broad range of age groups, primarily adults and adolescents, with a future focus on expanding care across the lifespan.
Qualifications:
Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - Board Certification required
Masters in Nursing with active prescriptive authority required
Understanding of AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR a plus
Three years experience a plus
Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners need to be licensed and living in the state in which they will be practicing
All clinicians are required to complete an in-house training on our ADHD treatment standards, guidelines, and approach, followed by a certification exam. While all new hires are enrolled in the ADHD Clinic and expected to treat ADHD clients, there are no quotas for the number of clients or prescriptions.
Compensation:
This is a Fee for Service position, the range for this position is $140,000-$200,000 per year based on 25-35 clinical hours per week.

Treatment Planning & Implementation: 75%

Prescribe psychotropic medications, including controlled substances, and educate patients on medication risks, benefits, and side effects.

What You'll Have
Active and unrestricted license and certification to practice as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or 2+ years of psychiatry experience under the supervision of a psychiatrist.

At QuickVisit, we are seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to provide telepsychiatry care in conjunction with services provided in our urgent care clinics. Our mission is to help those in underserved communities lead healthier, more fulfilling lives by improving access to trusted, affordable, and personalized urgent, primary, and mental healthcare. We are bringing affordable, accessible care right to patient’s hometowns.
The provider will be responsible for performing psychiatric evaluations and assessments virtually while prescribing and managing patient psychiatric medications from the age of six through adulthood. The Provider would be working with patients who may have the following symptoms/ previous diagnosis: Depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, attention deficit disorders, grief disorders, bipolar disorders, schizophrenia, mood disorders, substance abuse and personality disorders. Though this is a general list, it is not all encompassing.
The Provider will be expected to conduct one new patient evaluation every hour and to conduct follow-up’s/med checks in 30-minute increments. The provider will need to be able to function autonomously. Essential Functions:

Work closely with a diverse team of care providers including physicians, physical therapists, health coaches, registered dietitians while assisting in the patient's care pathway through triage, diagnosis and treatment via multiple lines of communication including video, texting, and digital platform.
Care includes proactively providing both medical and wellness education, diagnosing and treating patients via our online platform, including recommending suitable treatment plans and considering cost-effective treatment modalities, and assisting in care coordination and patient in-person visit planning for both urgent and non-urgent patient visits.
Providing an exceptional patient experience in telehealth interactions, including the highest evidence based, quality care recommended and patient-forward communication and messaging with which care is delivered.
Assessing quality of care delivered through giving and receiving regular feedback on individual member cases and Vori performance metrics
Promote positive team dynamics by regularly attending and contributing to group meetings and projects
Maintain professional and technical knowledge through attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, etc.

Required:
Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner
Advanced MSK trained
Minimum 5 years of musculoskeletal care experience
Currently licensed and willing to obtain licensure in multiple states

Position Summary
The Department of Nursing, in the School of Health Professions at National University invites applications for a Professor in the Master of Science in Nursing Nurse Practitioner program. Rank is commensurate with qualifications and experience. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated record of excellence in teaching and scholarship in their field and a commitment to serving the university's diverse adult student body This position works closely with other faculty within the discipline and administration contributing to programmatic strategies that ensure program quality, student engagement, and success.
In addition to faculty responsibilities, this position's primary responsibility is to serve as the Academic Program Director for the Master of Science in Nursing Nurse Practitioner programs within the Nursing Department.

As the MSN NP Program Director
Responsible for the continued, successful accreditation/approval of the MSN program through leadership and management.
Provide engaged instruction; develop curricula; conduct program, course, and student outcomes assessment; pass rates in each program as well as advise and support students.
Provide leadership and assume responsibility for the administration of the MSN NP program as required by licensing and accrediting agencies.
Responsible for hiring both Psych Mental Health and Family Health Nurse Practitioner faculty.
Supervise nursing staff within the MSN NP programs.
Plan, organize, administer, and oversee all aspects of the processes and operations of the MSN NP programs.
Develop the budget for the MSN NP programs with the Associate Dean of Nursing.
Work with Campus Operations and Staffing to plan, schedule, and ensure adequate staff for courses.
Communicate changes in state and federal regulations to appropriate people.
Participate in the grievance process for escalating student issues.
Ensure all university required processes are completed within designated timeframes (i.e., PARs, self-evaluations, FAP submissions).
Ensure all accreditation processes are completed within the designated time frame (CCNE annual report, CCNE Self Study and 5-year CIPR)
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
Registered Nurse licensed in the State of California required.
Master's degree in nursing required.
Terminal degree in the primary discipline taught or in a related discipline that is recognized within the field required.
Nurse Practitioner license and certification required.
A minimum of 10 years of full-time faculty higher education teaching experience required.
A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in direct patient care as a Family, or Psych Mental Health NP is required.
Knowledge of Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) standards required.
Knowledge of curriculum development, assessment and evaluation required.
Experience as a CA-BRN approved Program Director preferred.
A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in pre- or post-licensure nursing programs required.
Leadership &/or project management in a higher education setting preferred.
