This position is responsible for thorough review, research, investigation, and follow up for appropriate handling and resolution of appeals. Resolves issues within regulatory timeframes. Ensures compliance with all regulatory timelines. Prepares written outcomes and ensures all regulatory requirements are met. This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of (8:00am - 5:00pm). It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. Ability to work overtime mandated to process expedited appeals within 72 hours as required by department. Our office is located at 2720 N Tenaya Way Las Vegas, NV.
This will be on the job training and the hours during training will be 8am to 5pm, Monday - Friday.
Primary Responsibilities:
Positions in this function are responsible for providing expertise or general support to teams in reviewing, researching, investigating, negotiating, and resolving all types of appeals and grievances. Communicates with appropriate parties regarding appeals and grievance issues, implications, and decisions
Analyzes and identifies trends for all appeals and grievances
May research and resolve written Department of Insurance complaints and complex or multi-issue provider complaints submitted by consumers and physicians/providers
Research Information Related to Claims Appeals or Grievances
Analyze/research/understand how a claim was processed and why it was denied
Obtain relevant medical records to submit appeals or grievance for additional review, as needed Leverage appropriate resources to obtain all information relevant to the claim
Identify and obtain additional information needed to make an appropriate determination
Obtain/identify contract language and processes/procedures relevant to the appeal or grievance
Work with applicable business partners to obtain additional information relevant to the claim (e.g., Network Management, Claim Operations, Enrollment, Subrogation)
Determine whether additional appeal or grievance reviews are required (e.g., medical necessity), and whether additional appeal rights are applicable
Determine where specific appeals or grievances should be reviewed/handled, and route to other departments as appropriate CAP
Process Claims Appeals or Grievances
Identify and obtain additional information needed to make an appropriate determination
Ensure that members obtain a full and fair review of their appeal or grievance
Utilize appropriate claims processing systems to ensure that the claim is processed appropriate
Make appropriate determinations about whether a claim should be approved or denied based on available analyses/research of claims information
Document final determination of appeals or grievances using appropriate templates, communication processes, etc. (e.g., response letters, Customer Service documentation)
Communicate appeal or grievance information to appellants (e.g., members, providers) within the required timeframe (e.g., DOL, DOI)
Communicate appeal or grievance issues/outcomes to all appropriate internal or external parties (e.g., providers, regulatory

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent years of work experience
Must be 18 years of age or older
1+ years of experience analyzing and solving appeals in the health care industry
Experience with Microsoft Office including Microsoft Word (create correspondence and work within templates), Microsoft Excel (ability to sort and filter), and Microsoft Outlook (email and calendar management)
Ability to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of (8:00am - 5:00pm). It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime

The hourly range for this role is $16.88 to $33.22 per hour based on full-time employment. Provide various services such as wheelchair, security and porter services. Exhibiting exceptional customer
service and communication skills. Ensure the safety of property and people.
Essential Functions

1. Agent must be in communication with the supervisor on duty at all times. Will review the daily manning
and assignment for the day.
2. Provide wheelchair services (taking the wheelchair to assigned door and wait for passenger) ensuring
that all security procedures are met. Agent will take passenger through customs and baggage claim to
the curb only. Agent will not take passenger past curb into parking lot. When finished, agent must call
supervisor and return wheelchair to its initial position.
3. Provide security at different areas (only in the stations where the services are provided).
1. Checkpoint- Greeting passengers as they form a line, check each passenger's boarding pass,
ensuring that the correct cities appear, as well as checking for priority classes, time of flight, and
ensuring that the gate is correct. Agent must also check that each passenger is carrying the
appropriate amount of baggage per the airline. Agent must ensure that any airport employee
passing the checkpoint must show a valid ID.
2. Security at bag room. Ensure that all bags coming from the belt has a valid sticker. Employee
will remove sticker and place it on the control sheet. The bags will then be place onto a cart (by
a contracted company, not the employee). Employees must ensure that all bags are accounted
for.
3. Security at the assigned gate. Employee will enter the secure area of the jet bridge using their
employee ID and stand by the door of the airplane and constantly watch both doors to ensure
that no person without a valid airport ID enters the jet bridge or airplane. Employee will also

count each cleaner and scan them with the security wand. Employee will fill out a form detailing
the cleaner count, arrival time of airplane and airplane pushback time.
4. Security at the ramp for the assigned airline. Employee will receive baggage cart from bag
room, counting each bag as they are placed onto the airplane. Agent must ensure that there are
no questionable items placed onto the airplane, and that all bags are accounted for. Agents
must also ensure that no person (besides ramp workers) are allowed past the airplane
perimeter.
4. Porters will stand behind the airline counter awaiting baggage. They will aid the passenger service
agent or airline employees in weighing the bags, adding a bag tag, and placing bags onto the baggage
belt. Will make sure no bags are left behind at the counter.

Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Connections Housing Reservation Agent to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for handling reservations and inquiries for event attendees, coordinating housing logistics, and delivering top-notch customer service. Your exceptional communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and dedication to providing outstanding experiences will contribute to the success of our clients' events.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement: Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to client inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels. Understand their unique housing needs, preferences, and event requirements to deliver personalized housing solutions.
Reservation Management: Coordinate and manage the entire reservation process, including securing room blocks, negotiating rates, and ensuring room assignments align with attendees' preferences and event guidelines.
Accommodation Logistics: Work closely with hotels, venues, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless housing experience for event attendees. Coordinate transportation, rooming lists, special requests, and any necessary changes or modifications.
Problem Solving: Act as a reliable resource for clients and attendees, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and effectively. Provide alternative housing options and offer solutions to ensure attendee satisfaction.
Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and execution of housing logistics. Share updates and important information to ensure a coordinated approach.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, reservations, and any related communication. Generate reports and provide insights to assist with strategic decision-making and process improvements.
Industry Knowledge: Stay informed about industry trends, hotel rates, event requirements, and destination information to provide informed recommendations and deliver exceptional service.

Hourly: $15.00 to $16.00
Qualifications
Requires 2-4 years of experience in related field, preferably in hotel/travel call center
Fluency in Spanish is highly preferred
Hotel front office and/or group sales or service experience a plus
Excellent communication, time management skills, the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines on multiple projects
Solid experience in Phone Etiquette
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
Uses initiative to identify root causes and solve problems
Computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications required, specifically Excel and Outlook
Must possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Must be dependable with excellent attendance
