Perform fueling, defueling and calibrating operations, maintaining fuel facility, inventory, records and reports; and daily maintenance and inspection of utility and auxiliary power and fuel facility and fueling equipment per GOSM requirements. Maintain and perform all applicable testing of fuel as required per GOSM requirements. Direct one or two others in covering fueling assignments. Report any difficulties in providing fuel services, method of handling, safety violations, operation of vehicles and equipment, etc., to Supervisor or Hanger Management Recommend changes or modifications of system to improve aircraft fueling services. When emergency or unusual conditions arise in operations of maintenance department or at request of supervisor, may be assigned to other maintenance duties usually of a less skilled nature. Perform operator checklist as required. Contribute to the overall effectiveness of equipment by performing operator required upkeep. Follow all rules and regulations pertaining to environmental health and safety. Segregate waste material and follow good housekeeping practices. Refer only unusual conditions to Working Leader or supervisor. Basic Qualifications: Requires an elementary knowledge of clerical methods, forms, and records with ability to use arithmetical calculations, compiles simple reports, and coordinate aircraft fueling services. Also requires knowledge of aircraft fueling operations, safety procedures, and vehicle maintenance. Requires a short specialized training in aircraft fueling operations and control.
