POSITION PURPOSE
Adobe Population Health is seeking a talented and highly motivated Instructional Designer to join our growing Training Department. This position is responsible for the design, development, and evaluation of engaging, innovative online and blended training that supports the organization's mission and vision. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with internal departments, subject matter experts (SMEs), and other key stakeholders across the organization. The role requires a strong understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning methodologies, eLearning development, and Learning Management System (LMS) administration.
This is a newly created position that is primarily remote, in the state of Arizona. This position will require occasional travel to our corporate headquarters, conveniently located off the 51 freeway (16th Street and Glendale Avenue).
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and develop instructional materials, including curricula, interactive learning modules, e-learning courses, instructor-led training content, and blended learning programs with clearly defined learning outcomes.
Create high-quality supplemental materials such as facilitator guides, participant/user guides, glossaries, assessments, and job aids.
Apply appropriate instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM, Bloom's Taxonomy) to ensure training is effective, engaging, and aligned with adult learning best practices.
Update and enhance existing training materials based on regulatory, compliance, legal, and business process changes.
Collaborate with subject matter experts and department leaders to identify learning needs and develop tailored training solutions that close performance gaps.
Evaluate and assess the effectiveness of training programs using data analytics, learner feedback, and performance metrics; recommend and implement improvements as needed.
Research and integrate emerging trends, tools, and technologies in instructional design, eLearning, and corporate training.
Utilize course authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Captivate) to create multimedia learning solutions.
Manage multiple instructional design projects concurrently, ensuring adherence to project timelines, organizational goals, and quality standards.
Maintain and update content within the organization's LMS, including course uploads, tracking, reporting, and troubleshooting.
Regularly participate in department meetings and contribute to ongoing training strategy discussions.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the needs of the department and organization.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Three (3) years of current experience in instructional design, eLearning development, or corporate training.
One (1) year of healthcare, clinical training, or population health industry experience.
Working knowledge of instructional design methodologies, adult learning theories, and performance-based learning strategies.
Familiarity with advanced learning strategies such as blended learning, microlearning, mobile learning, and on-demand training.
Experience with job/task analysis and performance data analysis to inform instructional strategies.
Proficiency in course authoring and learning enhancement tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia).
Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and other presentation software.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including subject matter experts, clinical teams, operational leaders, and IT.
Excellent organizational, project management, and time-management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a focus on clarity, accessibility, and learner engagement.
Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.

1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;
1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.
For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
