POSITION SUMMARY: Our Account Manager I is responsible to manage all sales activities to maintain and grow assigned account list. Secondary support for other accounts assigned to fellow team members, as well as new, incoming accounts. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITITES: Develop and expand customer base by building good customer relationships. Field general sales calls and emails Collaborate with other disciplines such as estimating, production, scheduling and marketing to bring solutions to customers. Meet sales goals for assigned accounts and in support of account management team. Secure and renew orders and collaborate with order entry and shipping to arrange delivery. Gain knowledge of general product capabilities, specifications, part numbers and application guidelines to provide the right customer solutions and to field general questions. Follow up and qualify leads from General Plastics' website, hotlines, tradeshows, and other marketing promotions in an effective and timely manner Perform complete reviews of customer order documentation, terms and conditions, and other associated contractual requirements in order to assure order accuracy and timeliness. Respond to customer inquiries for sample kits, order status, production timelines, and quality issues. Collaborate with business development team on new product or application opportunities. Review client contracts and requests to ensure conformance with company policies and lead times Provide customer quotes and regular pricing updates.
