As a Business Developer you will be responsible for sourcing and onboarding new Vendors. As a Key Account Manager you will be in charge of maintaining, optimizing and scaling existing Vendor relationships to meet and grow customer demand both within the market and across our International business. On our team, you will be retail-savvy and work to fuel the growth of Goods by managing all aspects of the vendor relationship, inclusive of Purchase Terms, Cost Negotiation, Promotions and Product Supply, in order to build carefully curated vendor portfolios, that help drive performance against our key KPIs such as Gross Profit, Customer Satisfaction, Availability and Paid Marketing (Co-op). You'll spend time on the following: You will be responsible for spending 50% of your time sourcing new vendors to include their offers on our platform, and the remaining time developing and sustaining long-standing relationships with company-approved vendors. You will manage a given vendor portfolio with the goal of growing and optimizing sales to meet demand. As a Business Developer: * You are excited about contributing to launching and developing a new business. * You will conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and customer needs. * You will analyze market trends and competitors to develop strategic business plans. * You will seek out new business opportunities, through cold calling to engage, consult, and close deals * You will address and overcome objections or concerns raised by potential vendors during calls. * You will negotiate terms and pricing with potential vendors to reach mutually beneficial agreements. * You will use negotiation skills to close deals effectively while maintaining profitability. * You will source new vendors to the platform to develop product categories where there is a supply gap, such as brands and/or forecasted market trends. * All new business needs to not only meet the requirements for the Groupon customer but also ensure sufficient turnover for the business, preferably across markets. As a Key Account Manager: * You will be in charge of helping vendors grow and unlock their full potential both in their country of origin and cross border in International, identifying trend opportunities you can take advantage of such as through Marketing Campaigns and promotions * You will be responsible for the negotiation of commercial terms and conditions and cost prices and competitively setting retail pricing within company and legal regulation rule sets. * You will be responsible for pricing strategy, taking into account changes in the marketplace such as trends and marketing campaigns, to renegotiate and rework existing deals. You will conduct pricing analysis across your area of responsibility (portfolio and country) including monitoring the top performing deals. You will involve where, if necessary, the competent stakeholders who act in our international environment. * You will Target vendors that will provide a good range of product and new supply, particularly with a focus on Branded supply, that will support a curated marketplace that meets customer demand. You will autonomously be able to support the vendor in delivering relevant range according to the sales calendar * You will monitor and ensure product availability to meet the customer needs. You will ensure the product availability, planning in advance and monitoring the top performing products in your area of responsibility * You will be focused on delivering against commercial and profitability targets for your area of responsibility as set by the Groupon Goods business * You will develop and implement strategies to sell marketing assets (Co-op) to suppliers, aiming to boost their sales performance * You will be accountable for proactive upstream monitoring of pricing and duplication. * You will also be accountable for product quality through regular review of top worst offending deals (refunds- customer reviews) and poor customer experience, taking corrective action where necessary. * You will support your vendors in preventing and solving issues in partnership with Sales Operations. You are required to have good process knowledge and seek opportunities for process simplification and automation to improve our go to market operations. * You will proactively partner cross functionally with Groupons international internal teams, including vendor managers across markets, our Shared Services teams, Marketing and Operation teams. * You will conduct a weekly report to the management sharing sales performance of the area of your responsibility across both your vendor portfolio and target country. As Account Manager, you will oversee client relationships and project execution, managing tasks of varying complexity. Your role will involve handling day-to-day project management from client briefing to final delivery, ensuring seamless execution while working closely with internal teams and external collaborators. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, problem solver, and effective communicator with a keen eye for creativity and talent. You should be capable of delivering projects on time, within budget, and aligned with client goals. Additionally, you will play a key role in motivating and inspiring both internal teams and clients to produce world-class creative work. RESPONSIBILITIES * Manage the daily operations of various projects, including branding, advertising campaigns, social media, and integrated marketing initiatives. * Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure seamless project execution. * Develop and maintain strong client relationships across diverse industries, particularly in beauty, fashion, and FMCG. * Interpret creative briefs to produce compelling proposals, contracts, and budgets. * Oversee project scope, create detailed schedules, and ensure timely deliverables that meet quality standards. * Negotiate and manage project statements of work, estimates, and related financial parameters. * Regularly update resource planning tools to support efficient project allocation and scheduling. * Work closely with creative and production teams, proactively troubleshooting issues to keep projects on track. * Work closely with the Finance team to make sure milestones are approved and invoiced. QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE * Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Management, Economics, or Business. * Minimum of 3 years of experience in an advertising or digital agency, ideally managing fashion, luxury, or beauty clients on large-scale projects. * Strong digital proficiency and budget management skills. * A passion for fashion, beauty, film, and emerging technologies is highly desirable. * Fluency in English and Italian is required. * Meticulousness, attention to detail, punctuality, organization, effectiveness and assertiveness in communication, and team spirit are essential skills for this role.
